Recently I had the misfortune of my car breaking down while traveling into Boston. I was from out of town and was very concerned about who would fix my car. My brother recalled a service station, in the Cambridge area, where he had his car serviced 10 years ago and suggested since his experience was good that I should try them.
I arrived at 8 AM, without calling ahead, and my car was immediately taken into a bay. One gentleman took it for a ride and when he returned two other men joined him in assessing the situation. In turn two additional men took the car for a test ride and when they returned five men worked on the car. After about twenty minutes of deliberation they asked me to come into the garage. They explained I had a broken fuel pump and told me how much it would cost. I considered the price to be reasonable. We were already a day late returning home and because of this they said they would finish the job as quickly as possible. The job was complete at 1 PM and I drove back to Maine without any problems at all.
This letter is to recognize the people who own and work at Hondar House for their A-1 service. Their customer service was commendable as well as their repair service. I would not hesitate to use their services again or refer my friends and colleagues to Hondar House.
Sincerely,
Ellen C. Raibert
